Sanna's Bag

“I never seem to have what I need when I need it. I’m going to make a belt-bag that’s bigger on the inside than on the outside, and just carry everything with me.”

Right brain, left brain

This is just awesome, and speaks so strongly to me as a creative person. It takes a while, but is really, really worth it. What do you think?

So while we left that process, let's enjoy some pretty pictures.

Flower pron, as requested by Amy Lane. Here we have sunrise snagged in the branches of the magnolia.

And since everythng is better with a kitty, here is Miss Candy enjoying the sunshine and shadows on the office bookcases.

I'm listening to it now--and she's a VERY clear speaker!!! But in the meantime, thank you for the flower-porn--with kitties!!!

It's not a question of finding the sudafed. I can get it at the pharmacy with photo id but it makes my blood pressure skyrocket. I had a doctor threaten me with hospitalization. It's been 18 months since I have been able to take it and I don't care what the pharmacists say, there is no substitute. The procedure is Monday and I have some xanax I can take and some tylenol with codeine. I just need a driver. Don't want to be DUI!

The flowers are so beautiful. I wish they could reproduce without the pollen!

Thanks for the flower pr0n. We are still in the pre-daffodil stage here. In a couple of days they'll finally start to open. But the first scented violet has opened already!

Scented violets? Where can I get some of those? Anne of Green Gables is constantly babbling about smelling violets, and I always wondered what planet she was on, as ours don't smell at all except for one teeny-weeny white species.

Ahem. Back to your actual post. I do so love magnolias, and we won't have them for a few weeks yet. Thanks for the preview!

Wow - interesting thoughts on the right brain/left brain function and choice. Having worked with healing touch practicioners who work with the body's energy, this makes a lot of sense to me. They have often told me that I live in my left brain too much of the time and need to do physical, tactile activities like gardening to balance me. Thanks for sharing this.
