Sanna's Bag

“I never seem to have what I need when I need it. I’m going to make a belt-bag that’s bigger on the inside than on the outside, and just carry everything with me.”

at last!

The back of this one is red corduroy.
One side of the really big quilt.

And the other side of the really big quilt.(90 x 108 inches. The quilts still need to be tied (I like to use wool because, when washed, it fulls and shrinks and pretty much fuses itself in place).
And with all the sewing I did, and all the quilts I turned out, I still have over four apple boxes full of fabrics. At least I got them sorted a bit better. There are at least two more quilts all packed together and ready to go. It's just a question of finding batts and deciding on a plan of arrangements.
I would have gotten further on these on Sunday, but DH asked if I would like to go for a drive.
My inner labrador retriever took control. "Go for a ride?" Picture Roxie with her head stuck out the car window, tongue lolling from the side of her mouth, ears flapping in the wind, and idiot glee wreathing her entire being. A ride through the burgeoning spring in my favorite valley with my favorite man? Well, YEAH!
We stopped for a little shopping on the road.

Don't those look scrumptious? My mouth waters just gazing at the photo. They're bubble bath. Lavender-scented bubble bath. But sooo pretty, I just had to have some. A calorie-free sweet indulgence.

Oooh, those do look good. I mistook them for chocolate. This undoubtedly says more about me than about the bubble baubles.

Lovely quilts! Note to self: learn to sew.

They look delicious, but I guess I better not nom them!

I know that feeling! My inner labrador is the guy who rolls down the window and cranks the music--I'm glad yours came out to play!

That soap looks good enough to eat. I thought that they were cupcakes. Mmmm...

Oh, God, I will never get that picture of you out of my head now.

And I want to eat those. It isn't fair to make yummy-looking things that aren't edible.
