A finished object and more photos phrom the phest
Here is B. in the sweater I knitted for her. Nice raglan sleeve cardigan with pockets and . . .
a little detail. Very simple cable along the edge but it really MAKES the sweater, don't you agree? In exchange, she will paint a watercolor portrait of the five fur-faced folks in our house. cool deal!
and here's a little more eye-candy from the fest. Nifty vest. Excellent design for the yarn they used.
And more pretty, pretty rovings.
Pretty!
Here is Tammy in her new sweater, looking perfectly dressed for a lovely September day.
And here are some other folks, looking - - ah - - dressed - - with comfort and unique style. We all do our part to keep Portland Weird.

Beautiful sweater! Good job on getting a barter situation.
Love all those colors in the rovins. You're right, colors went from subdued to wild in a very short time.

the sweater does look nice - and the pockets look big and roomy. funny how a small detail like one cable can add so much to a simple design. those rovings are tempting me to learn to spin......

Oh you are so clever! The cardi looks lovely. I for one love cardis, making two right at the moment. Nothing as elaborate as this one you have done, but a cardi all the same.
How I envy you having such wonderful fibre events to attend. The colours are simply beautiful.
Looking forward to seeing the watercolour portrait of your fur-faced folk!

Terrific sweater. Love the colors and design. Genius at work, as usual!
At first (and second glance) I thought all that fiber was YOURS!! Terrific colors, though. And BTW, again with the spinning fiber??!! ;~)
