more knitterly hands
It is a thing of wonder to me that we each hold our yarn and needles slightly differently (Or markedly differently) and we all achieve fabric and garments. I love that knitting has so very many right answers. With math, answers are very binary. Right or wrong. On or off. Math is not my friend. Knitting is.
Computers are binary. I am still struggling to get photos from there to here. Arrrrgh!

I love the hand pictures. They are so amazing. I am struck by how differently we all hold the needles and how similar we are as well. All from different places and having learned from different sources. And math is too definite for me, too. I like options....

It occurs to me that I should have gotten a pic of one yarn in each hand. I might still. In the meantime, these pix are so much fun!

Great photos.Love seeing how everyone does things a little differently. It's like the first time you knit with a friend, you watch and learn a little bit about them from the way they hold it all. It's always surprising I've found.

I love the hand photos! I find the "older" hands especially appealing. It brings back memories of watching my grandmothers' and great-grandmothers' hands when they were teaching me.

So many beautiful hands! Lovely shots everyone's gotten, and it's really neat to see all the different things people are working on - bonus! I enjoyed yesterday's hands, too (doing a twofer, here [g]), and your scarf. Very nice touch with the beads! (How did you manage to keep Pepper from pouncing? LOL.)
A thought, if you aren't way ahead of me. Do you have email on both the desktop and laptop? Have you tried emailing the pix from one to the other? If other methods are driving you bats, that might be easier. Might. Weird are ways of our brains vs. computers...

The above comment was mine but I put in too many typos to make it readable! Must remember to proof read in future.
I love the elegance of knitters' hands. No matter how gnarled, cracked or delicate their hands appear to the owner, once they grasp needles and yarn is wrapped around their fingers a knitter's hands take on a new eloquence.

I love seeing these pictures. It's fascinating to see how we all do the same thing so differently.

I would title these four photos, "Hand wrap, or Not"
Umm, maybe not understandable...two people have the yarn wrapped around their fingers, two people don't. Fascinating to me.
