Sanna's Bag

“I never seem to have what I need when I need it. I’m going to make a belt-bag that’s bigger on the inside than on the outside, and just carry everything with me.”

The letter L

Kyle helped me with this alphablog.  This is a picture of a Lathe he uses at work
 Leave on my fig tree.
Lichen on tree bark
A Lamp made out of a Limb
Very useful on motorcycles I understand.  It sounds painful to me, but bikers laugh at pain.
Lips.  Ya know, there's a lot to be said for seeing oneself in soft focus and at a distance.  I may even paint a little glaze over the mirror to fog it up more.  In my mind's eye, there are no wrinkles or enlarged pores, and my lips are perfectly symmetrical.  What a lot of character my lips have!

Oh hell Roxie, don't complain about the marks of age on your body. They are badges of honor. Signs telling the world that you didn't quit when quitting might have been the easy way out. You charged ahead and made the best of a bad situation, You found a way to get from here to there when it looked impossible.

You should be proud of your age marks. You got one every time you didn't bring down "Maxwells Silver hammer" on the head of the ignorant lump of poop standing in front of you in a rage because he or she didn't get it their way. Some days you earned more than others. Some days you bled freely from the wounds and stumbled from the weight of those badges. But here you are,
so wear them with pride. Point them out, and tell their story. Your lips are lovely.

In my mind's eye, I am tall, willowy and have flawless skin.....
My mind's eye is blind as a bat.

I'm going to share the lathe photo with Pk. We own a lathe but it's a baby compared to that one. He'll be envious.

The mind's eye is a myopic thing -- this is something I know having compared the body I believe I have with the body that seems to be showing up, more and more, in photographs.

    Over from Murr. :-)

Hey Roxie! Nice photos! Now, I'd very much like to send you a print of one of mine. The stormclouds over the village? I've just connected with you on FB, so come say hi to arrange. Indigo x

Character is what you make, so your lips are perfect.
