    I'm thankful for the easy availability of food and than I can feed my family without having to do the killing (we'd be vegetarians).
    I'm thankful that years ago (when my father decided Pk was not a good person and he didn't like him) that we decided to start our own family traditions. Some years it was just the two of us and now we've grown into a small group. No fights, no bickering or sniping or meanness. Just good natured bantering and good food and joy. Just what I envisioned but didn't have growing up. (our holidays were not fun when I was a kid. adults can be such pitas sometimes)

    I hope you and dh had a peaceful, loving day.
