Sanna's Bag

“I never seem to have what I need when I need it. I’m going to make a belt-bag that’s bigger on the inside than on the outside, and just carry everything with me.”

boys toys

Saturday, we went to Costco, and DH allowed himself to buy a new toolbox. It has a hinged lid on top and is stainless steel all over and has drawers up the wazoo and wheels underneath. It's about five feet long and four and a half feet tall. With the hinged top, it kinda looks like a barbecue grill. The box has been discontinued, it was a great deal, and we got the last one in stock - the floor model. As we were pushing it out of the store, other men were casting coveteous glances, some even asking to see it. It has red padded liners and nifty locks. One guy said, "I was looking at that. It's a great deal!" DH just smiled and smiled. He took it right down to work. The weekend crew was envious. And now, the regular day shift will get a chance to see his new toolbox. It's wonderful when he gets something he enjoys so much!

It sounds terrific! Is it bigger on the inside than on the outside?

You had a busy and interesting weekend. We had a museum that Pk used to belong to (Air Victory Museum) which taught kids about planes (and all that math and science) and flight. They had an airshow each year. Our whole family would go and work and the local pilots would give kids rides for free. It was a fun day.

The bread baking sounds marvelous. I can't imagine not having a thermometer. I have new admiration for women......

Cute story! The boys are as happy as we are where we get silk yarn on sale.

And they say girls go gaga over braiding each other's hair. You've got proof. Boys love their toys. Now when did we plan to get together to gossip and paint our nails?
