"Knitters'" magazine had a great modular shawl pattern. My yarn didn't go nearly as far as I hoped, so I wound up improvising. It has a certain eccentric charm - just like me.
The hand-spun mystery batt provided some interesting, color variations. The end of the silk and alpaca that Dave spun for me makes a great frame, and some left-over horned dorset handspun singles made the white ends. The patern is from the "Swing, Swagger,Drape" book. Of course, I just took the concept and danced off sideways with it. But it was fun and easy and bears repeating.On the sheep front, it looks as if Lulu and the boys have been following my blog. And Wooley's offer has struck a number of nerves.

Don't you know you should never let sheep use the Internet? Some countries have laws about it.
