We are running about ten degrees below normal for the season, but it's warm enough today to enjoy being outside. The leaves are unfurling, and the air smells so good!
There are even intermittant flashes of blue sky. If it were a bit warmer, I might even roll in the grass.
It's a good day to study outside.
It's a good day to breathe deeply and watch the birds.

ReplyDeleteLast week it was up in the 70s and 80s. This week, 50s and 60s. No complaints here: it's part of spring in New England.

ReplyDeleteWe had frost on the windshield today. Frost! After having 95 degree days a week ago. Weird. We're more back in the normal range and the spring is lovely. I love the smells and leaves are full of miracles. How do they grow to full size so fast?
ReplyDeleteThough we have had some cool weather, things are moving on just about as they should. The lilacs will be open for P's birthday and that is what matters chez W.
ReplyDeleteSure you don't want me to find you some nice silver to go with that lovely china? Silverplate tends to be a bargain at sales. I know you don't like to polish, but if you use silver daily, and don't use it to eat soft egg yolks, it very seldom needs polishing. People used to have charming little horn or mother-of-pearl spoons for soft-boiled eggs...
