good felting
Well, once through the washer and dryer felted the fabric nicely, but didn't shrink it nearly enough. Ah ha! A challenge to my creativity. I'm on it!
It almost looks like a hood on a sweater...maybe make a sweater to attach it to with buttons????? Then use as a hood??? Or do you know anyone with a swollen head!? LOL Just kidding. Wonder if a small baby could use it to be wrapped up in, adding a button??? Play with it for awhile! Final solution could be a new cuddly for a cat!!!
I don't think anyone really wears bonnets any more. But maybe you could hand-felt it a little more and turn it into one of those bell-shaped 60's hats? You know, the ones that always look good with a bob-cut?
Maybe there's a nice giantess somewhere who could use a good hat.

If you wash it again. Will it shrink up even more? It's a beautiful color.

ReplyDeleteNow you look like a pink nun. Great picture!!!
ReplyDeleterun it through again!
ReplyDeleteIt didn't shrink much, did it? Maybe it could be a bonnet style hat? (does anyone wear bonnets?)

ReplyDeleteI'm with Lyssa-- three more times through the hot/cold/dryer setting ought to do it...
