Iris alert
Isn't this a lovely little patch to greet us on the way into work? And just think, we have finished the last working Monday in May of 2009! Look at the lovely veining in the petals. What a treat!
Working hard to get ready - it's yard sale weekend on the Long Beach peninsula - the Red House in Nahcotta will be participating. A house with an attic, a basement, and a garage, lived in for 32 years, acquires a lot of stuff... Plus lots more from F.& M. They have classier stuff than we do - collectable American pottery, Roseville, Hall, McCoy, etc., among lots of other things. Come and buy! Helping clear out our accummulation is a socially useful activity... Hope you continue to feel better, friend.
Memorial Day - the only association I remember of this day from when I was in california is: white shoes. But I don't know what the context is! Please help!
Glad the drugs have kicked in and you're smoothing out. Depression runs in my family and the diabetes analogy is spot on. Hugs to you and keep up the good fruit of happinesses.
I am ready for Memorial Day weekend! MamaMia is graduating from kolluje on Friday and we'll be in SD for the weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove the iris!
No. No. Hold back time. I've got too much to do this week.
ReplyDeleteBarb
Absolutely not. It's too cold here to be Memorial Day!

oh goodness me look at that! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for the long weekend. We're going to stargazing, so I'm hoping it will stay nice.
ReplyDeleteMy first iris opened yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI'm still confused that Memorial Day is this weekend when there is a full two-day weekend after it. This Monday holiday stuff, so confusing!
