Thank you. After two solid days of rain (during which we needed to pull out the pump, again), the colorful flowers were such a welcome sight.

Thank you for the tropical treats (photos). The wind was howling so loud through our old aluminum windows last night that my youngest was terrified and couldn't sleep in her bedroom. The playground at the school where I work has turned into a mushy field of pudding too so the kidlets there can't run and burn off their excess energy. Such is life in the northwest... at least the snow is gone for now.

Lovely pictures: Bird of Paradise on the bottom, next up is Hibiscus; then Oh, I can't remember the name, it's a Hawaiian native; and a Lady's Slipper on top. The one I left out: the real name is "Anthurium" but years ago I had a girlfriend who called them "Penis On A Platter Plant". I still call them that, and bet you will too, now! ;)

Is the one in the middle a protea?
Tropical flowers are so....well, suggestive, to say the least. Guess sex is sex, even in the plant kingdom.

Now you're just tricking - those flowers aren't from your garden, are they?!
Love the name, Pineapple Express. LOL. Enjoy the warmth while it lasts!
