Two photos but just one hat. I have been having such fun with double-knit. But it is fiddly work, and this hat isn't perfect so not ready for county fair competition. The mittens in the background are double knit as well. The picture on the right has one mitten with pink side out.
It looks like fun! I'm not sure I'm up to challenge of double knit--you're the (WO)man, Roxie!
ReplyDeleteDouble knitting fascinates me (although the word "double knit" brings back bad memories of clothes in the late 70's). It's amazing how different the pieces look turned inside out.
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove the double-knit idea. That would keep a noggin and hands doubly warm, plus you get different looks for different days. Beautiful color choices, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing these in person Sat. AM.
ReplyDeletePretty colors!
ReplyDeleteOkay, Spanky...let me get this straight...double knit means it's reversible with the opposite color showing on the opposite side? And wouldn't you need 4 balls of yarn and six hand for that?
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Those colors are amazing and I am totally wanting to try this now. Glad that you're feeling better. Have a fantabulous soiree today my friend!
