My supervisor felt this one needed the special inspection. she wound up so involved in her work that she became a purrito.

Monochromatic fabrics torn into 6" wide strips, joined randomly end to end, then seamed the long way any way they fall. I am inordinately pleased with this one.

And on the other side, odds and ends used up in fun.
How do you DO that? The quilt thing. I would have to plan and measure and chart and chart everything out nine ways from Sunday before ever picking up a pair of scissors. And then I'd probably botch the cutting. And then I'd have to deal with an unruly sewing machine laughing at me.
ReplyDeleteSigh. Your quilt is beautiful.
Every once in a while, quality needs to do deep inspections. Did she sleep on it also? You did good.
ReplyDeleteThat's cute--purrito!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteSweet kitty picture! LOVE the blue quilt. Someone will be warm and happy to wrapped in something so pretty. You are amazing.
ReplyDeleteA purrito. I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh I do love the blue quilt! And purrito boy.
ReplyDelete*snicker* Purrito *snicker*
ReplyDeleteAnd the quilt is damned purrty itself! (You must get such a kick out of boxing them up and sending them. I remember when I did project Linus a lot, I always just happy danced at the thought of all of those people I'd make happy.)
