It's my birthday!

Let's party down! I have been getting the lovliest wishes and cards all day long. This turning 58 is great.

Of course, I had to work all day long, too. And for my birthday I find that my hours are going to be cut. Oh well, more time to knit!

  1. Doesn't it suck when you have to work on your birthday? Many happy returns and many more happy years of knitting and writing and whatever else it is you want to do from now until forever.

  2. happy birthday Roxie!!! a friend of mine today said women in their 50s were OLD and all sorts of other horrible, nasty things. I quickly set her right and thought of people I know like and others who are in their 50s and just fabulous. :-)

Happy Birthday, my friend! NO ONE should work on their birthday, it should be like a paid holiday. When we were kids, my mom let us stay home on our birthday and I still do that now. Birthdays are the BIGGEST holiday of the year. ENJOY!

  9. Happiest of birthdays to you! I don't know why but 58 sounds like an appealing age to be. Sorry to hear about your work hours but, really, you could make a living from all your crafts by giving lessons and workshops in them!
